Free Comic Book Day is a single day each year that many comic stores across North America give away 100% free comic books to any customer that comes in.

The front side of the card featuring Captain America is vector illustration, while the back side advertising the party was made using the letter press and wood type that was printed and scanned.






Carol and John's Comic Book Shop in Cleveland asked me to design an ad to run in a local magazine (20K circulation) and a corresponding postcard to advertise the event.
