		<description>Carol and John's Comic Book Shop in Cleveland has a yearly Holiday Sale. To help advertise, a postcard was used for marketing purposes and to act as incentive by providing 40% off one item.

The front side of the card featuring a custom winter scene vector illustration updated from the previous year. The back side is used to advertise the party features a vintage scan of a superman comic from the 1960s where Superman and Santa team up.

		<description>Free Comic Book Day is the first Saturday of May each year. To promote literacy and the medium, many comic stores across North America give away 100% free comic books to any customer that comes in. 

The goal for FCBD 2012 working with Carol and John's Comic Book Shop was to focus on The Avengers movie being released the day before the event on May 4th, 2012. Since part of the movie was filmed in downtown Cleveland for several weeks in 2011, the goal was to have a call to action to unite fans and other local Clevelanders to "Keep Cleveland in Comics" with this campaign.

Picking from this celebrated list of individuals, I choose Stephen Colbert of the The Colbert Report.

		<description>Carol and John's Comic Book Shop in Cleveland has a yearly Holiday Sale. To help advertise, a postcard was used to spread the word as well as act as incentive by providing 40% off one item.

The front side of the card featuring a custom winter scene vector illustration, while the back side advertising the party was made using an already existing illustration of Marvel's Spiderman.
